Why a lawyer, not AI?
AI can summarise a contract. It can't tell you what's normal in your industry, what the other side will do when things go wrong or which clause will cost you money. And it isn't accountable for its advice. A lawyer is regulated, insured and answerable for what he tells you.
What does a review include?
The key risks and red flags marked on your copy with comments explaining each for a contract of up to 15 pages. Longer contracts are quoted. If you want us to redraft the clauses as well, that is 70% of the drafting price for that type of document.
How fast?
A review takes about 45 minutes at our office, by Zoom or by email. A first draft of a new agreement is emailed within two working days of payment.
How many rounds of amendments?
Two rounds of amendments after the first draft is emailed to you if you engage us to draft a custom contract. Further rounds are quoted before we do them.
What if the other side has a lawyer?
Our fee covers our draft and your amendments. Negotiating with the other side's lawyer is quoted separately before we start.
When do I pay?
In-person reviews are paid at the office after the session. Remote reviews and all drafting are paid upfront in full by PayNow. No deposits or instalments.
